Property for rent in Russia
The rental property market in Russia is not very profitable. In Moscow, high-end properties for rent are the only ones that can generate considerable profits.
In St. Petersburg, properties for rent can generate greater returns.
People working in foreign companies, embassies and employees of diplomatic missions choose properties for rent in the following residential areas in Russia: Arbat-Kropotkinskaya and Tverskaya-Kremlin.
The main areas where you can find the best properties for rent are Arbat, Kropotkinskaya, Patriarchy Ponds and Tverskaya, where prices are also very high.
If you are interested in rental properties in Russia just outside the city centre, you will still find pleasant areas within the Sadovoye Koltso, also known as the Garden Ring. These are generally quieter residential areas, with good connections to the city centre and numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and and parks.
One of the areas preferred by expats, but also by the Russians to search for property in is the area of Patriarshiye Prudy, on the north-eastern side of the Garden Ring: a perfect compromise for those who want to live in the city but surrounded by greenery.
Those who prefer a property for rent in an area of European charm choose Chistye Prudy, an attractive residential area, with a lake that offers the possibility of rowing in the summer and skating during the winter.
